Making the decision to get help for your drug and/or alcohol addiction is the best decision you can make. There are so many great things you can do with your life, and so much fun you can have in sobriety. Once you’ve made the decision to get help, you can check yourself into a outpatient drug rehab.

RECO offers both inpatient and outpatient care. Each of these levels of care has their advantages. The right level of care will be decided once you’ve been evaluated. The goal is to get you the best care possible and to ensure you get the right amount of help to overcome your addiction and maintain long-lasting sobriety. At RECO, we take special care to evaluate the needs of our patients and determine whether outpatient or inpatient is best.

How Long is a Drug Rehab Program?

The length of your drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation treatment will depend on which treatment program you are enrolled in. Below are the two main types of rehab programs, their benefits, and how long you can expect to stay at each:

Outpatient Care

Outpatient programs involve patients visiting the facility for their treatment, then returning home afterward. This is a lower level of care that is perfect for those that have serious at-home obligations (such as family and/or work). With outpatient drug rehab, a patient visits the facility a few days a week for a few hours at a time. During this time, they will be provided with the same resources and level of care as residential patients.

Some of the services you will receive while visiting our facility for outpatient treatment include:

  • Group therapy
  • Individual counseling
  • Family counseling
  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
  • DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)
  • And More

If you are enrolled in an outpatient program, you can expect it to last around TK. At this time, the decision will be made if you are ready to graduate from your treatment program.

Speak with our admissions team to see if outpatient drug rehabis the right level of care to meet your needs. They are happy to answer any questions you may have about insurance, travel, payment, and more.

Residential (Inpatient) Care

For patients that require a higher level of care, there is inpatient (residential) treatment. This form of treatment involves a patient residing at our RECO treatment facility for the duration of their recovery program. Our inpatient treatment program generally lasts around 30 to 90 days and involves the patient staying at our facility for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While visitors are allowed, the goal is to remove our patients from the outside world so they can better focus on their recovery and avoid distractions.

Residential care allows patients to receive additional care and support. Our team members are never too far away. Many patients also find that it is easier to be accountable when staying at a facility. There are no drugs or alcohol present, and patients don’t need to worry about visiting places like bars and restaurants where alcohol is present.

As with outpatient drug rehab, inpatient patients receive DBT, CBT, individual therapy, group therapy, and more. We provide all of our patients—both inpatient and outpatient—with the tools they need to succeed and thrive in their new, sober life.

Drug and Alcohol Detox

Making the decision to get help is fantastic. It’s the first step to recovery. Once this decision is made, though, you’ll need to find a drug and/or alcohol detoxification facility to fully remove the drugs and/or alcohol from your system. For some drugs, withdrawals aren’t too bad, and the symptoms go away pretty quickly. For other drugs and alcohol, the symptoms can be much more severe.

There are a lot of withdrawals symptoms, which include:

  • Sweating
  • Tremors
  • Shaking
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • Hallucinations
  • Nausea
  • Seizures
  • And more

It’s important to understand that withdrawals can be extremely dangerous and even deadly. You need to detox in a proper medical facility that specializes in detoxification services. At a detox facility, the medical staff will keep an eye on you and provide you with the support you need to get through the detoxification phase. Once the drugs and/or alcohol have left your system, you can enter into rehab.

If you are ready to get help, reach out to RECO. We’ll point you in the direction of an excellent facility where you can receive detoxification treatment. We’ll also help you to get enrolled in our inpatient or outpatient drug rehab treatment program.

Aftercare

Your sober journey doesn’t end after graduation from our program. You’ll not only want to make use of everything you have learned during your stay, but you’ll also want to make sure you take advantage of our Alumni program. Our Alumni Buddy program connects those still at our facility with Alumni that have graduated. This gives the patients in the facility extra support, while also providing Alumni with the opportunity to give back and be of service.

We have a fantastic, weekly alumni meeting that we encourage our patients to attend as well. Here, they can connect with others, hear amazing speakers, and continue their journey of sobriety.

Adventure Therapy

RECO provides patients with fun opportunities to spend time outdoors, get some exercise, and connect with the world around them. Our Adventure Therapy program includes healing nature walks, rope courses, service projects, escape rooms, and more.

It’s not only possible, but easy to have fun in sobriety!
